You do not have to remember to search: when a reported buyer orders from you, the order says so.

No contact details in public
BadBuyerList's public list shows the reported person's name, e-mail and phone number. SafeBay's buyer pages show the eBay username and the reports, never an e-mail or phone number, and search engines are kept off them.
