Buyers do not search for "refrigerator fan motor". They search for the model number on the sticker inside the door, and they buy the part that fits it. To sell that part you need three things that live on three different websites: the manufacturer's parts diagram for what fits, PartSelect for the list price, and eBay's sold history for what people actually pay. The index holds hundreds of thousands of models across every major brand, with the deepest coverage for GE, Kenmore, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Bosch, Amana, Maytag, LG, Hotpoint, Samsung and KitchenAid. It spans refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, ovens, dishwashers and microwaves. It does not cover automotive, HVAC or small-engine parts.
Parts Locator fetches it live from the manufacturer catalogue while you watch the progress, then keeps it for next time. If the model does not exist in any catalogue, it falls back to PartSelect for the parts list. Suffixes such as /AA or (AB) are ignored automatically, so "NX58M5600SW/AA" finds "NX58M5600SW".
Active listings and sold listings are pulled from eBay for each part number and filtered to titles that actually contain that part number, so keyword noise does not distort the average. The last good snapshot is kept, so a failed refresh never blanks out a price you already had.
